Better visits. Faster family reunification
Be a part of their journey

“I just saw there was such a deficit in seeing these families reunify because in the community you cannot see the parenting capabilities”
-Colleen Huff, Founder
Visits in places like fast food restaurant’s or public libraries are far from ideal. They’re often noisy, crowded, and full of distractions. Parents feel judged, kids can’t relax, and there’s constant pressure to buy food or leave quickly. It’s not a place for bonding — it’s survival. Libraries aren’t much better, with strict noise rules and little room to just be a family. These environments add stress to an already fragile situation. Kids need comfort, not chaos, during visits. That’s why having a home-like space matters — it creates dignity, stability, and the freedom to just be together.
At TVH, every moment is designed to strengthen families—providing safe, supportive spaces where parents and children can bond, grow, and heal together. Through a combination of structured visits, hands-on education, and trauma-informed support, families at TVH are experiencing real, lasting change.

TESTIMONIALS
Impact from
Additional Bonding Hours
“The additional bonding hours have been helpful for the client. She recently started overnight visits with her children, and I’m noticing improvements in their behavior. With more time together, they’re building routines. The girls are so happy to have consistent time as a family each weekend. As of today, mom has been offered a full-time job, which she is extremely excited to start next week. She has been working hard to be in the best place possible for her children’s return. I believe she is very close to reunification and would recommend it sooner rather than later so they can continue building and growing together as a family. I continue to be impressed by how she balances her time and care with each of her children—she cooks regularly, engages in conversations about their personal lives, shows appropriate affection, looks after their safety, and ensures they have fun no matter what the day holds.”
